Metaphysics is the study of the ultimate nature of reality. The two terms that branch off from this are cosmology and ontology. Cosmological is the study of order and organization, sometimes used in the sense, order in which our existence came: God-earth-us. Everything is connected and driven by a purpose to fulfill a certain goal in life. In order to fulfill this goal, life generates many systems among species. For example, all living species have a system that generates reproduction and within that system, one purpose generates another purpose in order to reach that goal.
Aesthetics is the study of beauty and things perceived with the senses. Aesthetics are pleasing to the senses so humans spend their life seeking beauty. The goal of beauty is to create an aesthetic experience for organisms to enjoy and to attract species of the opposite sex to one another. If it were not for aesthetics, attraction would not exist among species, thus the opposite sex would not be drawn to each other and reproduction would not happen so life may stop existing all together.

What is the Purpose of Life?
Everyone may have their own idea of what the purpose of life is, but from a Christian's perspective, the meaning of life was given to us by God. Our purpose in life is to develop a personal relationship with God and to do his will in our own life, which is following the Word of God. Our time on earth is very short, so this is the time that we decide what path we will take; the path of death leading to eternal suffering, or the path of life, leading to heaven.

nature vs. nurture
Are humans defined by their life experiences or through genes?
I was thinking about doing my paper on this topic, because I have always been really curious about this. I've wondered before, if I was born to a different family or even if I had the same family, but my home life growing up was a negative experience, if I would be a different person today. If I had a bad home life, or different friends and different life experiences, would my temperament be different, would I be a"bad person," would I still apply the same morals, principles and beliefs to my life? On the contrary, if humans are defined by genes, would I still be the same person inside, no matter what I experienced in life?

Blog: What makes a fact a fact?
What makes a fact, a fact?
Well, to me a fact is something that is indisputable, it can't be argued, because it has been proven. Facts are accepted as true and unchanging. They are objective and do not have more than one answer, therefore philosophy is the complete opposite, because it is not based on facts, it is more subjective, it can not always be proven and the truth is not always found.
